Students

In the interest of promoting young talents and qualifying students for their entry into professional careers, Belimo offers various opportunities as interns and working students.

On one hand, we enable ETH students from technical degrees to do a 5-6 month internship within the research or development division. For the duration of the internship, students are given a project to work on independently and complete or hand over the project at the end of the internship.

On the other hand, we offer jobs for working students in all areas, so that they can work in a 20% to 40% part-time job alongside their studies. Working students at Belimo usually take on predictable and recurring work within their team.

Apprentices

We have been providing vocational training to apprentices in a variety of professions for many years and are aiming for a share of around 6-8% of vocational trainees in the skilled workforce as the medium-term goal. To fulfil our mission, we take a supportive yet performance- and goal-oriented approach that encourages personal responsibility and builds on teamwork. We develop the quality of our vocational training further through feedback, critical self-reflection and continuous encouragement of the vocational training team.

As automation technician, you build electrical controls, apparatuses, machines or automation systems. You put these into operation, carry out repairs, are responsible for maintenance, create technical documents and train the operating personnel.

Next start: 2026Electronics Engineer (VET)

As an electronics technician, you participate in the planning, development, programming and manufacture of electronics hardware and software. You will spend a great deal of time on the PC to develop electronics devices or measure various circuits.

Next start: 2027Information Technologist (VET)

We train IT Specialists in platform development. You perform maintenance and upkeep on various server systems and storage solutions. You work on your own and in teams, which is why the ability to integrate and think in a networked manner is very important.

Next start: 2026Commercial Employee (VET)

The commercial apprenticeship training offers versatile professional perspectives and is considered a solid basis to start your professional career at Belimo, you can complete your training in the E-Profile or the M-Profile (with Vocational School Diploma) in the MEM sector.

Next start: 2026Design Engineer (VET)

As a designer, you apply creative methods to search for solutions for technical problems. You first use sketches to formulate ideas, after which you make 3D drawings of them on the computer and create corresponding production plans.

Next start: 2026Logistics Professional (VET)

At Belimo, the warehouse is the control centre of our logistics. As a logistician, you are active not only in warehouse spaces at service, trade or production operations, but also in letter and packet centres, mail delivery, freight distribution centres or at railway stations and terminals.
