The Belimo Energy Valve™ is an IoT device, i.e. an intelligent pressure-independent valve that can be connected to the Belimo Cloud. Unique functions such as the Delta-T manager or the possibility of direct power control provide clarity, enhance efficiency and reduce costs. The Belimo Energy Valve™ consists of a 2-way or 3-way characterised control valve, a volumetric flow meter, two temperature sensors and an actuator with integrated logic.

Customer-specific products
These days, challenges in planning and on the construction site are difficult to solve using standard products, which is why customer-specific solutions are becoming increasingly important. We build the actuator you need – with the cable length, connector plug and parametrisation you specify. On request, we mount the actuator to a valve and create a pre-mounted assembly from pipe parts, sensors, connections and much more.
- Different cable types and lengths with or without a connector plug.
- Product labelling with your customer information (e.g. where the actuator is to be installed in the building).
- Completely prefabricated and tested assembly (e.g. seal integrity) with components of your choice.
- On request with flexible pipelines, with special coatings or insulation.
- We take care of the parametrisation for you (e.g. adjustable running time, switching differential and bus parameters). For HVAC performance devices (e.g. Belimo Energy Valve™), we prepare the complete commissioning for you according to your specifications.

Key performance indicators, which make it easy to determine the "health status" of the device, ensure reliable operation. Numerous diagnostic parameters show how the device interacts with the system during operation. If servicing is required, it is possible to draw up a failure analysis quickly.

Modular design for a fast meter exchange
The Thermal Energy Meter consists of a sensor module (lower part) with connected temperature sensors, which houses the calculator unit and measuring system, and the logic module (upper part), which connects the Thermal Energy Meter to the power supply and provides the bus and NFC communication interface.
The sensor module is available as a spare part and, in certain countries, must be periodically replaced according to national regulations. To do this, the logic module can be separated (leaving all cables connected) and the lower sensor module can be easily exchanged. After that the logic module is clipped back on again. There is no need to re-connect cables or re-integrate the meter into the system. A very significant time-saving!
