Reliable cooling circuits are crucial in critical environments. Pharmaceutical manufacturing plants require constant temperature and humidity control in order to guarantee quality, purity, and stability of their products.
The production plant of SwissCo Services in Sisseln, Switzerland runs 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
In order to meet their growing production demands, SwissCo makes it a priority to invest into optimizing the performance of their HVAC system. Besides the required ambient needs, the facility was challenged to optimize the energy efficiency of the cooling circuit while taking highest availability and maintenance requirements into account.

The refitted HVAC system commissioned in May 2017 enabled energy savings of 128 000 kWh measured between and August 2017.
