Control Valves

Belimo provides a full range of innovative control valves. These solutions meet different system needs and ensure optimal flow control. Our pressure-dependent products include globe valves, ball valves, and butterfly valves. Belimo pressure-independent products include mechanical valves (PIQCV), and electronic valves like the ePIV and the Belimo Energy Valve. The Belimo Energy Valve is an advanced IoT cloud-connected valve that improves system performance.

These valves, which are a type of control valve, enhance energy efficiency and reduce maintenance costs. The system sends the control signal, an electrical signal, to the valve. The valve acts as the final control element in a control loop. The control system determines the valve's opening and closing to maintain the flow rate at the set point.

Depending on the application, the valve can open or close, and it has fail-safe capabilities. Common applications for control valves include modulating control valves and on/off valves. Modulating control valves change position based on the input signal. On/off valves either close or open completely.
